Site Launch/Closure Project Manager

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon via Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Amazon.

Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Description:

• Launching AMXL buildings and site closures.

Required:

• Travel 90% (site to site – within the United States east coast or central US)
• Less travel mid November – January (roughly 25%)
• Be able to work with multiple stakeholders across multiple departments
• Be able to lead a team if needed

Preferred:

• Ex- Amazon is bonus? - 1st preference to previous start-up contractors
• Past industry preference? - engineering, supply chain, business
• PMP Certification

• Communication Skills
• Weekly updates
• GNTT Chart

Skills:

• All Microsoft products and Outlook
• BlueBeam Revu, BIM 360 Docs, and ProCore

Contract Length: 15 Months

Location: Virtual (90% travel, must be close to a major airport

Pay Range: $55 - $60 per hour
