ALW is seeking a creative and highly motivated Technical Marketing Lead to join our marketing team. This remote role will support ALW’s marketing initiatives, managing product launch assets and creating technical collateral that speak directly to architects, lighting designers, and other key influencers in the architectural lighting industry.
Your Responsibilities Will Include…
- Collaborate with sales & product development teams to create technical assets for new product launches and ensure launches remain on schedule (e.g., renderings, brochures, web pages, spec sheets, presentations)
- Manage internal and external resources to ensure completion of product launch activities and milestones (such as renderings and technical collateral)
- Oversee spec sheet & brochure updates – including managing external resources to make necessary edits
- Serve as lighting design resource for internal team, and external agents/specifiers (customers)
- Research industry trends, and identify trending topics to develop thought leadership opportunities and presentations (e.g., AIA-accredited presentations)
- Support the development of email campaigns, blog posts, white papers, case studies, and other content
- Develop detailed concepts for customer-facing videos (such as product features, installation, and case study)
- Prioritize multiple projects and deliver highly effective and creative work
Your Experience & Qualifications Include…
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, engineering, architecture/lighting design, or a similar field
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-centric B2B organization, with a deep understanding of customer needs
- Prior experience/knowledge of the lighting/construction industry and key customer personas (e.g., architect, interior designer, engineer)
- Understanding of the marketing funnel, and determining content to target prospects at each stage
- A natural curiosity to measure, test, learn, and iterate to get the best results possible
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/OneDrive)
- Proficiency with lighting design software tools - AGi32 preferred
- Critical problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers at all levels
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment

Compensation
Varies based on factors including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Year-end bonus potential based on individual merit and company performance.
