Now Hiring: Part-Time IT Project Manager / QA Testing Lead (Remote – Europe-Focused)

Alumerix is seeking a Part-Time IT Project Manager / QA Testing Lead to support a cloud-based automation implementation for an International QSR Development team across multiple European markets. This is a remote-first role requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with availability during Central European Time (CET) business hours to collaborate with international stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
This role combines project coordination, vendor management, QA testing, UAT governance, and go-live readiness activities. The selected candidate will serve as the primary coordination point between Business, Technology, and Vendor teams to ensure structured delivery, risk visibility, quality testing, and successful implementation.
What You'll Do
• Lead project coordination activities across vendors, business stakeholders, and technology teams, ensuring scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and action items remain on track
• Serve as the primary liaison between business teams, technical teams, and external vendors to maintain alignment and drive decisions
• Coordinate QA and UAT activities, including test planning, regression testing, defect tracking, issue resolution, and sign-off readiness
• Support validation of environments, integrations, reporting, data quality, dashboards, and deployment readiness
• Coordinate go-live activities, user readiness, support transitions, and post-implementation stabilization efforts
• Provide concise project status updates highlighting progress, risks, blockers, and delivery readiness
What We're Looking For
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Required CAPM, PMP, or another globally recognized Project Management certification (PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent certifications are also acceptable)
• 2–5 years of experience in IT Project Management, QA Leadership, UAT Management, Implementation Management, or related roles
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple functions and time zones
• Experience with cloud-based or Azure-hosted applications, testing processes, integrations, reporting, and defect lifecycle management
• Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English required
• Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Key Details
• Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
• Location: Fully Remote (Europe/CET time zone compatibility required)
• Working Hours: Availability during standard CET business hours required
• Interview Process: Two rounds – one with Alumerix and one with the client
• Industry Experience: Experience within QSR, retail, franchise operations, food service, development, construction, or real estate environments is considered a strong advantage
