This role reports to the Product Director. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for improving the business outcome of our portal of casual games on web and mobile.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset coupled with empathy for our players’ experience. You will champion product features which improve our product’s stickiness and conversions from ideation through live operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the product director in identifying and implementing features and games that deliver against our objectives.
- Gather and analyze data from our player’s behaviors in our product, as well as identify new data gathering requirements.
- Work with community management to implement surveys / polls / customer interviews to surface qualitative feedback.
- Suggest and document product pitches which will improve the stickiness or purchase intentions of a particular game or the portal overall.
- Actively manage the product backlog with an agile mindset: prioritize, slice and estimate product backlog items with the team.
- Collaborate across disciplines (product, design, art, engineering and QA) to deliver in a timely manner at the best possible quality level.
- Build healthy relationships with all team mates – discuss differences in opinion respectfully.
- Strive for A/B testing and experiments as much as possible
- Once delivered to the customer, you will ensure our KPI’s are met and suggest future improvements through live operations.
- Stay abreast of the competition via research and present findings to internal stakeholders and teams.
- Communicate your progress clearly to the team via Show and Tells or other gatherings
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience building a public facing digital product.
- Previous experience managing a product backlog and building features with a team
- Expert in industry standard tools such as Google Analytics, Atlassian, Google Suite etc…
- Able to work well in a remote, collaborative environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Proactive and creative with the drive to improve and continuously learn
- Experience and passion for Gaming and digital entertainment a strong plus
- Not afraid to make decisions, but sensible about decisions which need careful consideration
- Knowing when to adhere to a process vs. when to just “get it done now”
