Security DATA Engineer

Job Description

As part of the Security Reporting Service team, Cyber Defense is looking for a Security Data Engineer to assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines that integrate IT and security data into centralized reporting solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, and Power BI :

• Data Pipeline Engineering: Build and optimize data pipelines with Azure Databricks and PySpark, ensuring performance, reliability, and data quality.
• Data Modeling & Integration: Define data models, integrate new sources, and collaborate with data owners for accurate and efficient data collection.
• Reporting & Analytics: Create Power BI dashboards, reporting scripts, and support data cube development for actionable insights.
• Workflow Management: Plan and coordinate design, build, test, and operations phases, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives.
• Acceptance Testing: Develop and run acceptance tests to validate solutions and ensure compliance with requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma : Bac+5 in Applied Computer Science, Data science, Data engineering

Experience : 5+yrs of expertise

Qualifications :

• Expertise of Azure Databricks architecture and configuration.
• Expertise in building and managing data pipelines using Azure Databricks.
• Expertise with Azure DevOps for project management and deployment processes.
• Power BI reporting
• System and network knowledge
• Scripting (Python, Powershell)
• Work Environment: English, French (fluent, written and spoken)
• Certification Power BI - Certification PL-300
• ISO 27001
