Alpha USA is seeking a visionary Director of Marketing & Communications to lead the national marketing and communications strategy — shaping how Alpha's story is told across the U.S. and ensuring marketing insights influence organizational priorities. This role centers around one core mission: amplifying the stories of transformation happening through Alpha. You'll lead a small team, design digital campaigns, and equip churches with tools to invite more people into conversations about Jesus. This role is pivotal in advancing Alpha's 2033 vision — shaping a national narrative that invites millions into conversations about faith and driving awareness, engagement, and partnership.
Operating Model & Boundaries (How We Want To Work)
- Define and Drive Strategy: Lead Alpha USA's national marketing and communications strategy. Ensure brand, voice, and messaging are aligned across teams and channels.
- Empower and Elevate People: Lead and inspire a high-performing team; support with freelancers and agencies.
- Simplify and Optimize: Design digital journeys with clear KPIs and regular testing.
- Steward the Ecosystem: Recommend and steward marketing stack (CMS, CRM, email, analytics).
- Lead Through Multiplication: Prioritize high-impact stories and empower others to tell theirs.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead with Story: Shape Alpha's national voice; curate stories across video, print, web, email, and social.
- Drive Awareness and Growth: Lead national strategies to expand Alpha's reach.
- Mobilize and Equip Others: Provide churches with inspiring content and digital kits; collaborate with regional teams.
- Steward the Message and Mission: Define brand tone and visual identity; oversee PR and media engagement.
- Lead and Develop Team Capacity: Cultivate a learning culture; oversee contractors and agencies; build succession and collaboration.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- 10+ years in marketing/communications with success in digital campaigns and messaging strategy.
- Translator mindset: synthesize vision into clear narratives and campaigns.
- Experience guiding small teams and managing vendors.
- Proficient with digital platforms (social, email, CMS/CRM, analytics).
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
- Alpha experience preferred
