Alpha Recon provides security management, enterprise security risk management, business intelligence, and real-time situation awareness for asset management in threat environments. The company offers highly specialized intelligence and threat identification through AI, machine learning, and subject matter expertise, empowering clients with predictive threat and risk assessment capabilities.

Role Description

Experienced, organized, entrepreneurial, machine learning/AI, Director of data science and development project manager needed to complement a talented technology team at an innovative risk technology company. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action, end states, timelines and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people, reporting metrics and be an effective communicator. This is a full-time entrepreneurial remote role; there is no salary initially as compensation will be in the form of stock options. As the company scales and achieves certain revenue thresholds, base salary will commence.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee completion of technology development projects
• Develop plan of action with sprints, timelines, resources, release control, risks, etc.
• Assess risks and establish contingency plans
• Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
• Organize and plan meetings related to project goals
• Create project plans and update as leadership requires

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience hands-on experience in AI/ML
• Familiar with AI projects and data science models
• Analytical Skills and Data Analytics expertise
• Proficiency in Data Science methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Experience in leading data science teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, or related field

If you do not have experience managing technology development projects, you will not be considered. Candidates for this role will be offered stock options as the principle source of compensation as this role is for ENTREPRENEURS looking for upside, and who already have alternative sources of income.
