We’re hiring our first Marketing Manager to build our marketing function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on doer who can start solo, execute essential early tasks (emails, landing pages, light paid media, basic reporting), and then evolve into a strategic leader responsible for building a high-performance team and growth engine.
This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, owns outcomes, and knows how to balance short-term hustle with long-term strategy.
What You’ll Do (Initial Phase)
- Own all early-stage marketing execution: email campaigns, website updates, landing pages, HubSpot/CRM workflows, and paid media basics
- Build foundational marketing assets, documentation, and reporting dashboards
- Identify channels and strategies that move the needle quickly Write, edit, and publish content as needed (LinkedIn posts, case studies, email nurture copy, etc.)
- Track performance data and adjust campaigns in real-time
What You’ll Do (Scaling Phase)
- Design and implement a scalable inbound/outbound marketing strategy
- Hire and lead a team of specialists (SEO, content, paid, automation, etc.)
- Manage marketing budget, tech stack, and analytics infrastructure
- Partner closely with sales to optimize lead gen, nurture, and conversion
- Own brand positioning and messaging strategy across all channels
Who You Are
- 4–8+ years in marketing roles, with at least 2 years owning growth or demand gen directly
- You've worked in a startup or fast-growing company and know how to do the work and delegate it
- Expert in email marketing, CRM workflows (HubSpot preferred), landing page optimization, and digital ads
- Strong writer and creative problem-solver
- Experience hiring or managing freelancers and internal team members
- Self-directed, proactive, and organized — thrives without micromanagement
Nice-to-Have (but Not Required)
- Recruiting or staffing industry experience
- Paid media buying and analytics experience (LinkedIn, Meta, Google)
- Familiarity with SEO, video editing tools, or basic design (Canva, Figma)
