Client Services Lead — Alpha Key Digital

Alpha Key Digital is a Northeast Ohio digital marketing agency serving aesthetic medicine practices (plastic surgery, dermatology, medical spas) and premium home and professional service businesses. SEO, paid media, web design, content, and video. We've been doing this for a decade, we're small on purpose, and our clients stay for years.

We're hiring our first Client Services Lead: the person who will own how work gets done here.

The role

You'll take full ownership of the client lifecycle from kickoff through renewal. That means setting the strategy for each account, directing our specialist contractor bench (SEO, paid media, development, video), owning whether the marketing actually performs, and being the person clients count on week to week. Our founder stays close to relationships and new business. You own the machine that delivers.

This is not a coordinator role with a bigger title, and it isn't pure account management. You'll be accountable for results, not just for communication about results. As the portfolio grows, this seat builds the team underneath it.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients: check-ins, reporting calls, strategy updates, onboarding
• Own marketing outcomes across SEO, paid search, paid social, and websites for every account
• Review performance data monthly, know why numbers moved, decide what changes, and defend the call
• Review contractor deliverables critically and hold quality and timelines
• Own the monthly reporting cycle and client-facing summaries
• Protect account profitability by managing hours and scope against what the client pays
• Run Asana as the source of truth and build documented, repeatable delivery processes
• Run monthly one-on-ones with contractors and clear their blockers
• Report directly to the founder with a standing weekly strategy session

Required qualifications

• 3+ years inside a digital marketing agency, with 2+ owning client relationships, delivery, or client services leadership
• Demonstrated ownership of client relationships: you've been the person clients call
• Real working knowledge of performance marketing: SEO, paid search and paid social, content, and WordPress websites, with enough depth to review specialist work critically
• Comfort interpreting Google Analytics, Search Console, and ad platform data
• Hands-on comfort with WordPress: you can get into a site, spot what's wrong, and make or direct the fix
• Experience managing external contractors, freelancers, or vendors
• Excellent written communication

Preferred qualifications

• Experience leading a team or building out a function inside a larger organization
• Healthcare, aesthetic medicine, or professional services client experience
• Background at a small agency (under 15 people)
• Northeast Ohio based, or a genuine connection to the market

Compensation and benefits

• $75,000 to $95,000 base, depending on experience
• Performance bonus tied to client retention and portfolio growth
• Three weeks PTO plus holidays
• Remote, US-based, Eastern hours, with flexible scheduling. We care when the work ships, not when you're at a desk
