Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack VoIP Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Your primary responsibility will be integrating third-party APIs to build and enhance our soft phone application. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, a deep understanding of VoIP technologies, and a passion for solving complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, integrate, and maintain a robust VoIP soft phone application.
- Implement and optimize third-party APIs to enable seamless communication features.
- Design scalable, high-performance solutions for VoIP applications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to call quality, connectivity, and system performance.
- Ensure security measures are in place for VoIP applications, including encryption and firewall configurations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and project success.
- Stay informed about emerging VoIP technologies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong expertise in Typescript, Node.js, and PHP.
- Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Familiarity with VoIP protocols, including SIP, RTP, and H.323.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, PBX systems, and VoIP software like Asterisk or FreeSWITCH.
- Past experience working with WebRTC
- Proven ability to resolve technical issues related to VoIP system performance and call quality.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Electron for desktop application development.
- Proficiency in ReactJS for building advanced user interfaces.
- Knowledge of Unified Communications platforms, such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager or Microsoft Teams.
- Expertise in ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) for voice traffic.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
