The Social Media Manager role is critical as it represents how we show up to the world – especially to customers, prospects, partners, and future talent. Social media is our brand voice and a tool that amplifies our demand gen, promotes products and solutions, encourages engagement with our audiences, helps sales engage with future customers, and is a conduit for customer support. Without proper management and oversight, comments and sentiment can become out of control and spiral. It is important to have someone working closely with both our sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and relevant content for our audience.
