Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Designer to join a collaborative design team and help create intuitive, high-quality user experiences across digital products. This role involves working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the entire design lifecycle, from discovery and concept development through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support product design initiatives from problem definition to final implementation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business and user requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Develop domain expertise and identify cross-functional and cross-product dependencies.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, and design specifications for web-based products.
• Participate in user research, discovery sessions, usability testing, and iterative design improvements.
• Work closely with engineering teams and fellow designers to ensure design quality, consistency, and adherence to design systems.
• Utilize AI-powered tools such as Cursor and Claude to support research, ideation, design exploration, and documentation.
• Document design decisions and prepare comprehensive handoff materials for development teams.
• Fully remote position with collaboration during Pacific Time business hours.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Product Design experience (internships and relevant project experience considered).
• Portfolio showcasing at least 2 case studies demonstrating end-to-end design thinking and problem-solving.
• Strong foundation in UX Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, and Product Design.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Intermediate proficiency with Figma, including working within and contributing to design systems.
• Experience with user research methodologies, discovery activities, and usability testing.
• Ability to quickly learn new business domains and navigate ambiguity effectively.
• Strong collaboration skills when working with product, engineering, and design teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience or familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor and Claude.
• Ability to work during Pacific Time business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B or SaaS environments.
• Formal design education or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with remote user testing and prototyping tools.
