Sr. Software Engineer – AI

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Software Engineer – AI to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in building full-stack applications. Since this position entails leading the development of Generative AI-enabled apps, practical experience in generative AI and a profound understanding of its principles, applications, and latest advancements is highly desirable. This role requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly integrate AI solutions across the full stack, driving forward our AI initiatives and ensuring robust, scalable implementations.

As a Sr. Software Engineer – AI, you should have a sense of personal accountability, curiosity to research new technologies and methodologies, and a strong desire to tackle complex issues while respecting timelines and team commitments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead design, development, implementation, and maintenance of AI platforms and AI-powered tools/applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technologies, exploring opportunities to integrate new AI capabilities into existing or new applications.
• Contribute hands-on to building web applications, including creating new applications, making major product updates, and maintaining existing portfolios.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, SRE, and leadership teams to plan, develop, implement, and support solutions.
• Implement best practices for application security and ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes for smoother releases and improved team confidence.
• Understand business requirements and proactively identify gaps, ambiguities, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with a distributed team to solve problems quickly and collaboratively.
• Consider the full lifecycle of solutions—from conception to launch, maintenance, and eventual sunsetting.
• Mentor junior engineers to support their professional growth.

About You

• Experience developing AI-powered solutions at an enterprise level.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams while maintaining hands-on technical contributions.
• Strong communication skills to interface with business units and leadership, fostering trust and confidence.
• Deep expertise in developing both front-end and back-end components of modern web applications.
• Ability to design user-centric front-ends in collaboration with UX teams.
• Commitment to accessibility in all engineering processes.
• Skilled in designing APIs for ease of use and interoperability.
• Strong understanding of the “why” behind tasks, with empathy for end-users.
• Demonstrated experience delivering software in a distributed team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced release environment, delivering production-grade, fault-tolerant software for millions of users.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, documentation, performance, and security.
