Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with deep expertise in Linux systems, low-level networking, and cloud infrastructure to join our Platform Engineering team. This role requires a strong technical background in system-level programming, performance optimization, and distributed system design. You will work on complex, high-performance platform components that operate at scale and enable mission-critical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize platform components with a focus on Linux internals, networking stacks, and high-throughput data plane applications (DPDK).
- Collaborate closely with System Architect, Network Engineers, Security, and Product teams to define architectural requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Working across hybrid environments leveraging public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises systems.
- Analyze system bottlenecks and drive performance improvements, virtualization, and application layers.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience:
- Linux Internals: Solid understanding of kernel subsystems including memory management, process scheduling, file systems, userspace interactions, and device drivers.
- Networking & Data Plane Development: Experience with DPDK, NIC offloading, and high-throughput, low-latency packet processing.
- Systems Programming: Proficient in C/C++, Bash, and Python for low-level development, automation, userspace system-level applications, and performance tuning.
- Multithreading & Performance Optimization: Strong grasp of concurrency, synchronization, and real-time optimization in system-level applications.
- Distributed Systems Engineering: Proven ability to design, build, and scale resilient distributed systems and platform services.
- Strong analytical and Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with deep debugging skills and a focus on performance-driven, reliable solutions.
Nice to have:
- Practical knowledge of hypervisors and virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware).
- Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) and service mesh architectures.
- Familiarity with operational best practices for large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience designing and deploying systems on public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

- Strong communication skills with the ability to document designs and present technical solutions.
