About The Role

Reporting to the Product Design Director, you will be responsible for working on UX/UI for mobile apps and desktop platforms such as trading interfaces, cryptocurrency wallets, and payment and debit card solutions. The role is fully remote.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of five years of experience in UX/UI or product design, supported by an impressive portfolio showcasing their expertise in crafting contemporary, high-quality user interfaces that align with the latest design trends while upholding brand consistency. We seek an individual with a meticulous eye for detail, a knack for maintaining design coherence, exceptional organizational skills, with a proactive approach and strategic thinking. Creativity and innovation in their problem-solving approach are highly valued, as well as a genuine passion for the field.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Design Team, your primary responsibilities will include the following:

Strategic and innovative approach to designing and maintaining our platforms
Responsive UX / UI design for desktop and mobile applications
Sprint planning and roadmap sessions across teams
Wireframing and prototype setup and presenting designs and solutions
Maintaining products with new improvements via AB testing to monitor their success
Conducting data analysis to make informed, strategic decisions
Extensive information architecture for our brand, products, and services
Designing new design components professionally structured within a design system
Updating legacy components without damaging existing designs
QA front-end development work
Regular audits and reviews of our customer experience both on and off product
Research, concepts, and ideas for future products or features
Maintaining brand consistency across all products and services
Natural flair for typography, color, and layout
Creating iconography and graphics
Ability to proactively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Initiative to think ahead, set own meetings, and work dynamically with other teams
Experience in project scoping and managing own projects from start to finish
Keen interest in suggesting and improving processes within a start-up environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the business
Strong communication and organisational skills and collaboration with global tech teams ensuring design is reflected in the development and efficient delivery of projects
High standard of design and strong attention to detail
Creating JIRA tickets when passing the torch to other teams
Up to date and interested in the latest industry design trends

Mandatory experience

5+ years experience
Great communication skills and ability to plan in a sprint/scrum environment when dealing with ad/hoc requests
Highly proficient in Figma building responsive library components via auto-layout
Prototyping in Figma
An excellent, diverse portfolio of work with smart responsive design
Key understanding of design systems and UX/UI principles and methodologies
A desire to take on user testing to better understand our customers
Key understanding of the payments and fintech space
