Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer specializing in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to design, develop, and optimize solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep experience implementing and customizing SPM modules to support portfolio planning, demand management, project execution, and resource management. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT and business teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve visibility, governance, and delivery of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure solutions within the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) suite.
• Implement and customize SPM modules such as Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, and Agile Development.
• Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations to support portfolio and project management processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance, resource utilization, and project delivery.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration frameworks.
• Participate in platform upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
• Follow ServiceNow best practices and ensure solutions are maintainable, secure, and scalable.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation for SPM implementations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of existing SPM capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) certification.
• 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow SPM / PPM modules.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform development including:
• Business Rules
• Flow Designer / Workflows
• UI Policies & Client Scripts
• Script Includes
• REST/SOAP integrations
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript within ServiceNow platform).
• Experience working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
