Software Engineer, Swift - AI Training (Freelance, Remote)

Alignerr.com is a community of subject matter experts from several disciplines who align AI models by creating high-quality data in their field of expertise to build the future of Generative AI. Alignerr is operated by Labelbox, a leading data-centric AI platform for building intelligent applications. The role involves shaping the future of AI with Swift by evaluating and guiding AI-generated Swift code to ensure it aligns with iOS development best practices. Responsibilities include evaluating Swift code for iOS apps, readability, and functionality; writing Swift code to solve mobile development problems and explaining the approach; providing feedback on AI-generated solutions to improve relevance and clarity; and flagging issues related to Apple ecosystem compatibility or common development pitfalls. Candidates should be fluent in English with clear technical explanation skills, have expertise in Swift including SwiftUI, UIKit, concurrency (async/await), and iOS frameworks, and ideally have 3-5 years of iOS or macOS app development experience. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field is preferred. This is a freelance position compensated hourly, not an internship, and candidates must be authorized to work in their country of residence without sponsorship. Compensation varies by skills, experience, and location.
