We’re looking for a mid-level Software Engineer who’s excited to build real products in a fast-moving Healthcare consulting startup environment. This is a hands-on, full-stack role with a strong focus on data, system design, and scalable backend development, while still caring deeply about User Experience.

You’ll work across the stack from relational databases and PL/SQL, to APIs and frontend interfaces and collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to ship thoughtful, reliable solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and learning by doing.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications
Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL & PL/SQL for data modeling, transformations, and business logic
Develop backend services and APIs
Build and iterate on frontend interfaces using modern frontend technologies
Think through system design tradeoffs: scalability, performance, data integrity, and maintainability
Collaborate and design using Figma to translate designs into functional UI
Partner with product and stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions
Debug production issues and improve existing systems over time
Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and code reviews

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development role (JavaScript/Python)
Experience working across the stack (backend, database, frontend)
Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle DB preferred) and SQL/PL/SQL experience is a big plus
Experience building and maintaining backend services (REST APIs, services, or jobs)
Familiarity with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, or similar)
Comfortable working with frontend technologies (React or similar frameworks preferred)
Solid system design thinking, you can reason about data flow, edge cases, and scaling
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Clear communicator who can explain technical ideas to non-technical teammates
Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Nice to Have

Experience with Oracle APEX or other low-code platforms
Hands-on experience with AWS or cloud architecture
Experience working in data-heavy or analytics-driven systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Exposure to UX, design systems, or design tools beyond Figma
Prior startup or healthcare related experience
Experience with applying AI/LLMs in production-level use cases
