A Fortune 500 investment firm is seeking an Advice Growth, Senior Manager to support a strategic transformation focused on evolving the business from a transaction-based model to a more relationship-based client experience. This role will play a key part in shaping the future vision of the firm’s advice offering strategy.
The team is seeking a strategic professional who can help define what the future advice experience should look like across different client segments and asset levels. This individual will lead the evaluation and development of advice offerings, including pricing strategy, feature differentiation, branding, positioning, and go-to-market recommendations.
This role is highly cross-functional and will partner with marketing, research, sales, client experience, and strategy teams to evaluate market opportunities and develop recommendations that drive long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy development for future advice offerings across client segments and asset tiers
- Conduct and/or oversee market, client, and competitive research to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic recommendations
- Define and evaluate advice offer components including service models, feature sets, pricing structures, and positioning strategies
- Assess economics and develop business cases supporting proposed advice offerings and growth initiatives
- Recommend go-to-market approaches that support differentiated positioning and client adoption
- Partner with market research teams, analytics groups, and external vendors/consultants as needed to gather insights and validate recommendations
- Support strategic initiatives focused on increasing engagement, conversion, and long-term client relationships
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, advisory, sales, product, and client experience teams
- Monitor industry trends, competitive positioning, and evolving wealth management offerings to inform strategy recommendations
- Help define business requirements and strategic priorities tied to future growth capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 8+ years of experience in advice strategy, product strategy, management consulting, go-to-market strategy, or related areas
- Direct experience within wealth management preferred
- Financial industry required
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through execution
- Experience developing business cases, evaluating economics, and making strategic recommendations
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting strategic recommendations
- Experience designing or evolving client advice offerings, advisory programs, or service models preferred
- B2C experience preferred
- Experience conducting market assessments, pricing analysis, and competitive evaluations
- MBA or advanced business degree preferred
