An exceptional opportunity is now available for an experienced PMO Strategy and Planning Manager to join a fast-paced, consumer-driven organisation in Doha, Qatar. This high-impact role will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) function for a product-focused division, with responsibility for project portfolio governance, strategic planning, and execution oversight across product initiatives tailored to consumer markets.

This position requires permanent relocation to Doha, Qatar.

You will play a critical role in embedding PMO excellence across all projects from ideation to go-to-market, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, customer expectations, and world-class product design standards. This is an opportunity to shape the delivery of customer-facing products in a high-growth environment where innovation, agility, and consumer insights drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead a divisional PMO, ensuring robust governance frameworks that drive transparency, consistency, and accountability.
  • Standardise project delivery practices, tools, and reporting structures across a portfolio of consumer-focused product initiatives.
  • Lead the integration of best practices across methodologies (Agile, PMBOK, Lean Six Sigma) with a focus on consumer product delivery cycles.
  • Oversee the strategic planning and prioritisation of all divisional initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and consumer market demands.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in marketing, product, design, and commercial teams to ensure market-driven decision-making.
  • Use data and analytics to guide portfolio decisions, resource allocation, and scenario planning.
  • Champion the integration of product design thinking into the planning and execution of all projects.
  • Collaborate closely with product development and design teams to ensure that project governance supports customer-centric, design-led outcomes.
  • Ensure that consumer insights and user experience considerations are embedded into product roadmaps and project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards that communicate project health, risks, dependencies, and value delivery.
  • Monitor KPIs, OKRs, and performance metrics focused on customer impact (e.g., CSAT, NPS), ROI, and market outcomes.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement loops to enhance PMO maturity and product delivery effectiveness.
  • Apply structured change management practices to support adoption of new governance models, processes, and tools.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring cross-functional buy-in and alignment on key initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and performance, with a relentless focus on delivering value to the end customer.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in strategic PMO or programme management roles within the consumer market/products.
  • Proven experience overseeing product development and go-to-market lifecycles for consumer-facing solutions.
  • Deep understanding of design methodologies, UX principles, and product innovation in customer-driven markets.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO best practices, strategic planning, and performance tracking frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, multicultural environments with complex project portfolios.
