Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and scaling the backend systems for our next-generation platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and able to handle increasing data and load efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and speed of our service delivery, working closely with internal teams to meet their needs and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable microservices and backend systems for catalog, inventory, and orders.
• Ensure high performance and scalability of backend systems to meet growing data and traffic.
• Collaborate with internal teams, providing iterative improvements based on requirements and feedback.
• Employ best coding practices, focusing on maintainability and test-driven development.
• Lead and contribute to the decomposition of monolithic systems into microservices.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in .NET Core, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS and microservice architecture.
• Strong knowledge of both RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).

Industry Experience:

• Experience in high-volume, transaction-based eCommerce applications is preferred.
• Background in the gaming or related industry is a plus, along with familiarity with automated testing, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Kafka, and data sharding strategies.
