Job Title: Software Engineer with Dev/Tech Support Responsibilities

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 + Benefits
Position Overview: We are looking for a versatile Mid-Level Software Engineer with at least 2-3 years of professional experience in software development, particularly with Ruby on Rails (RoR) and full-stack capabilities. This role balances software engineering responsibilities with a focus on providing development support for technical issues, ensuring seamless operation and optimal user experience. The ideal candidate will be able to work across the stack, solve complex problems, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in the telemedical industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and services using Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
Collaborate closely with the customer experience team to manage tickets involving customer, doctor, and pharmacy escalations.
Quickly familiarize yourself with key components of the system to provide effective support and implement improvements.
Work with the engineering team to diagnose and resolve technical issues, implementing long-term solutions.
Participate in the development of new features and system enhancements based on
feedback and identified opportunities.
Document support processes and technical solutions to improve team knowledge and efficiency.
Stay informed on industry trends to proactively anticipate technical needs and solutions.
Day-to-Day Duties: Monitor and address development support tickets, collaborating with the customer experience team for prompt issue resolution.
Engage in full-stack development tasks, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
Communicate with non-technical stakeholders to understand and address technical concerns.
Conduct root cause analysis and develop sustainable fixes alongside the engineering team.
Participate in daily stand-ups, providing updates on both development and support tasks.
Update documentation with findings, solutions, and processes from support cases.
Provide input for system improvements to enhance stability and performance.
