🚀 Backend Software Developer (Remote – Canada)

Our client is hiring a Backend Software Developer to help build scalable, cloud-based solutions for leading North American clients. This is a fully remote role open to candidates across Canada.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Ensure code quality, design consistency, and technical governance
• Contribute to architecture, planning, coding, and continuous improvement
• Support releases and live applications
• Engage in DevOps and deployment processes
• Communicate clearly with global teams and stakeholders

✅ What You Bring

• 6+ years of Java development experience
• 4+ years working with AWS cloud services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and scalable architectures (e.g., microservices, serverless)
• Strong object-oriented design and database modeling (SQL & NoSQL)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Client-facing experience

🌟 Bonus Skills

• Experience with TypeScript or Python
• Familiarity with DDD and TDD
