Physical Security Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Physical Security Project Manager for a 9 Months Contract job with a direct client on a fully Remote basis (EST Hours). The ideal candidate would have 15+ years of expertise as a Project/Program Manager in leading global, multi-site physical security deployments (including access control, video surveillance, and infrastructure), with strong capabilities in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and end-to-end program execution.

Pay Range: $55.00 - $60.00/ Hour on W2 without benefits. (The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Project Manager to lead program coordination, planning, and execution for a global physical security initiative spanning multiple regions and office locations. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and technical consultants to ensure successful deployment and standardization of physical security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Deployment Planning

• Develop and maintain a global physical security program plan, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies across regions (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
• Support creation of a structured project team model, defining roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths
• Coordinate phased deployment strategies across multiple locations, including new builds and office expansions

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Support vendor selection processes, define scope, and participate in evaluations
• Coordinate vendor activities to ensure alignment with timelines, standards, and quality expectations
• Act as the central point of coordination between internal teams and third-party integrators

Execution & Delivery Oversight

• Oversee deployment of physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, and perimeter security
• Track progress across regions, manage dependencies, and ensure timely execution
• Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as liaison across Security, Facilities, IT, HR, and Real Estate teams
• Ensure alignment between physical security systems and enterprise network requirements, HR systems, and construction timelines

Reporting & Governance

• Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and issues
• Support budget tracking, forecasting, and cost control
• Establish governance processes for decision-making and change management

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in project management leadership across networking, security, cloud, or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing multiple complex technology projects
• Expertise in building and maintaining detailed project schedules (MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar)
• Strong documentation, organizational, and follow-up skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate across diverse groups
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in risk assessment and mitigation planning
• Ability to manage large-scale programs with multiple dependencies
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• PMP certification or equivalent
• 15+ years of experience in program/project management
• Ability to pass background check requirements
