Job Title: C#/.Net Full Stack Engineer
Type of Role: 3 Month Contract

What will they be working on?
- Production Migration code moving files from a share drive to an S3 bucket and updating a production database. This is a batch executable application.
- A React web application with ADFS permission to drive the migration workflow
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a solid understanding of OOD design principles
- Proficiency in C# and .Net 8 programming
- Experience with React JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Powershell
- Hands-on experience with ODBC, MSSQL, GraphQL, GRPC, AWS, S3, and Cognito
- Ability to reverse engineer code and work independently in a small team
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
The contractor will be working on production migration code and a React-based web application with ADFS permissions, so we’re looking for someone seasoned and detail-oriented with a 0.01% defect ratio track record (yes, that level of precision!).
- Participates in all phases of Web application product development and deployment of solution; develops new features per business requirements, or enhancements that support existing applications;
- Applies analytical and problem solving skills to design and develop applications that meet functional and technical specifications;
- Converts raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into Web pages;
- Develops unit level testing that supports continuous integration and builds;
- Resolves software level defects that are reported by quality assurance resources; responds immediately to high severity production level issues;
- Actively supports and agile approach throughout the daily work tasks / deliverables;
- Ability to work in a priority-driven environment, managing multiple and changing tasks;
- Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with program;
- Consults with internal support staff to analyze and understand functions to be automated, customer needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements;
- Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 8+ years of software engineering and support
- Solid understanding of OOD design principles
- 8+ years experience with C# , and experience with .Net 8 programming language
- 3+ years with React JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Powershell
- 8+ years experience with ODBC and relational MSSQL database
- 3+ years with GraphQL and GRPC
- Ability to reverse engineer code, that is, read existing code to figure out what the code is doing
- Ability to multi task and perform under pressure
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Small team. Only developer working along side QA and DBA.
- Solid software development lifecycle methodology using GIT
- Solid experience building applications in an AWS environment using .Net in Docker or AWS containers
- Solid AWS experience working with S3 and Cognito
- Solid English communication skills
- This is a seasoned developer who knows how to ask questions to ferret out business scope and directions. This is not waterfall.
- This is a seasoned developer who produces quality code with 0.01% defect ratio
- Time and Materials - average is 40 hours - flexible week to week
- Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
