Akkodis is looking for a Marketing Automation Engineer to optimize, maintain, and scale our marketing automation platform (MAP). You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our automation tools are efficient, compliant, and seamlessly integrated across business units. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, data management skills, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance marketing operations.

Pay range: $40 - $43/hr (The pay rate may be negotiable based on Experience, Education, Geographic location and other factors)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and optimize the Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) (e.g., Braze, Iterable).
Ensure platform compliance, data hygiene, and governance.
Clean up outdated user data fields and align them with the Source of Truth (SOT).
Manage user permissions and oversee platform access control.
Monitor IP health and email deliverability for marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with marketing managers to audit and document active automation workflows.
Implement ETL (Fivetran) and Reverse ETL (Hightouch) to integrate data pipelines with third-party providers.
Work with QA teams to develop test scenarios and ensure automation success.
Optimize database health, retention policies, and user data structures.

Requirements

✅ Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms (MAP) such as Braze, Iterable, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or similar.

✅ Strong understanding of email deliverability, IP health, and marketing data hygiene.

✅ Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Fivetran, Hightouch) and data pipelines.

✅ Ability to analyze, clean, and optimize large datasets for better automation performance.

✅ Excellent collaboration skills with marketing, IT, and QA teams.

✅ Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and compliance best practices.

Nice to Have:

➕ Experience with SQL, Python, or scripting languages for automation.

➕ Background in customer lifecycle marketing or CRM management.

➕ Familiarity with marketing analytics and campaign performance tracking.
