Akkodis is seeking a CarPlay/AA software engineer for a Contract with a client in Washington, DC (Remote). This role requires experience in software quality assurance with a strong foundation in mobile and embedded system testing.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

CarPlay/AA Software Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

Perform end‑to‑end software quality assurance for mobile and embedded systems, ensuring stability and performance across CarPlay and Android Auto environments.
Design, execute, and automate test cases using Python, Swift, C, Java, or Kotlin to validate application functionality and system integration.
Analyze system logs, debug issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects across Android and iOS platforms.
Validate features that interface with Android NDK/JNI or iOS frameworks to ensure seamless connectivity and user experience.
Manage source control, test execution, and workflow tracking using tools such as Git, Xcode, and Jira.
Support continuous integration efforts by contributing to automated test pipelines and improving testing efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
6–8 years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance for mobile or embedded systems.
Proven proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Swift, C, Java, or Kotlin.
Strong working knowledge of Android/iOS platforms, including Android NDK/JNI or iOS frameworks, along with experience using tools like Git, Xcode, and Jira.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
