Our Data Experience team consists of collaborative, inclusive, and creative individuals. We develop cloud-native services with high reliability and massive scale. We build on Akamai Cloud, the most distributed and closest to the edge cloud platform.

Partner with the best

You work at building and operating an observability stack on top of the next-generation cloud computing platform. You will join other talented engineers in a cross-functional scrum team. You own the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based services & observability products.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Developing highly scalable and reliable Cloud Observability managed services and collaborating with others in the team.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD environments.
• Maintaining the classic Akamai products and platforms.
• Contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Have hands-on experience of developing softwares in any of the object-oriented languages (Java, Python etc).
• Have an idea of networking protocols TCP, UDP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Able to work with any third-party-cloud (Azure, AWS,GCP) systems is good
• Able to work with micro-services and kubernetes orchestration systems is Good
