The Program management Team is on a mission to build and operate the world's most performant, efficient, and reliable planetary-scale platform. You will join a team of Technical program managers that lead complex technical programs that advance Akamai's Cloud Computing Technology.

Our Cloud Storage Aligned Technical Program Management (TPM) team partners cross-functionally to drive key strategic programs within Cloud Storage products and critical infrastructure that supports them.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Guiding cross-functional teams in developing and executing plans, strategies, engineering planning, risk assessment, dependencies.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks arising from technical complexities, including integration, architecture, and resource limitations.
• Communicating programme and project statuses across organisational levels, from technical teams to executive stakeholders.
• Ensuring clarity, building relationships with stakeholders, embracing agility, and collaboratively designing solutions to meet business objectives.
• Supporting the product and engineering teams, managing backlogs, resolving issues, and managing changes in the roadmap.
• Adopting best-practice guidelines to influence and implement continuous improvements to the processes

To be successful in this role you will:

• Possess 8+ of relevant programme management experience overseeing complex, enterprise technical initiatives.
• Show experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments and understanding software development life cycle.
• Have experience maintaining project plans, identifying dependencies, managing milestones, and ensuring accurate real-time achievement status.
• Be comfortable navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting gears as needed.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and organisational skills, communicating effectively with stakeholders, including senior management.
• Have experience utilising JIRA, Confluence, and managing processes using Agile, Scrum, or Traditional PMI methodologies.
