The Cloud Data Services team belongs to the Cloud Technology Group, providing innovative cloud and edge networking solutions. This team designs, implements, deploys, and operates data streaming platforms, enabling product teams to create operationally safe and secure products. The primary focus is supporting agile development and ensuring high performance in product delivery.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer dedicated to creating reliable monitoring and deployment systems for efficient releases. This role involves enhancing the Next Generation Portal to support internal teams and external developers. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions, improving features, and boosting productivity while optimizing system performance to meet organizational requirements.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and enhancing automation frameworks, tools, and libraries using Python to address software challenges in distributed systems environments effectively.
• Designing, developing and enhancing the tools and automation frameworks used for quality engineering and lab management
• Creating & optimizing processes and tools to monitor, analyze, and improve the quality and availability of streaming data pipelines.
• Reviewing product & system design requirements to come up with efficient automation frameworks or libraries
• Hands-on LLM experience is preferred. Good understanding of ML/AI concepts
• Setting up multi-cloud platforms, such as Azure or Linode, using Kubernetes (self-hosted or cloud-native), is highly desirable.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Possess expertise in computer science or equivalent experience, alongside a minimum of four work-related experience in the field.
• Demonstrate 4+ experience in software development using any programming language, such as Python.
• Have exposure to Container technologies like Dockers, Kubernetes etc
• Utilize GIT or Perforce tools effectively for managing version control systems in software development workflows.
• Have exposure and/or interest in working with internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.
• Demonstrate capability to quickly adapt to LLM technologies with practical, hands-on expertise in applicable environments.
