About Us

Aither is a hybrid product design studio and venture lab working across consumer technology, healthcare, fashion, transportation, and financial services. We sit at the intersection of business strategy, design craft, data systems, and emerging technology.

We design and ship products for founders and enterprise leaders. At the same time, we build our own companies from the inside.

This role moves between the structure of a studio model and the velocity of an early stage startup. You will help deliver for external partners while participating directly in company building from within.

Joining Aither means building in two arenas. You will design and ship work for external clients while helping bring our internal ventures to life.

You will move between the rigor of a studio environment and the speed of early stage startup development, gaining rare exposure to both structured delivery and company creation.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer (UI and Visual) to join our team.

Our ideal candidate is highly skilled with Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Highly experienced and efficient, detail-oriented, with excellent organization and artistic/creative direction.

You will join a team of UI, UX, and graphic designers that move fast to deliver the highest value to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to build products from 0 to 1, develop branded materials, and continually improve products with new feature development and strategy
• Create user-centric designs that beautifully simplify complex workflows
• Maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all product touch-points
• Create and maintain Figma prototypes and other UI artifacts that effectively communicate design solutions to stakeholders
• Create project briefs and manage feedback rounds with UI/graphic/motion designers
• Utilize your full range of product design, interaction design, data visualization, creative thinking, and visual design skills

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio that demonstrates design process and problem-solving skills
• Excellent with Figma, Notion, and Slack
• Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, data scientists, and marketers
• Knowledge of UI & UX design principles and methodologies, including user research, prototyping, testing, and Atomic Design Systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (required for client-facing collaboration)
• (Bonus) Experience with animation (AfterEffects), Cinema4D, creating 3D assets, IxD

Please note: This is a contract role with the potential to transition into a Full-Time position for interested candidates.
