User Experience Designer

About the Role

Air IQ is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our product/design team. This is a great opportunity for a fresher or early-career designer to work on real products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and grow their design skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups
• Conduct basic user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into design solutions
• Maintain and contribute to design systems and style guides
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Figma
• Basic understanding of design principles: typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Familiarity with prototyping and wireframing tools
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• A strong portfolio showcasing design projects (academic, freelance, or internship work is acceptable)

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Understanding of user research methods and usability testing
• Experience with design systems or component libraries
• Internship experience in a product-based company

Qualifications

• B.Tech(Preferred)/Bachelor's/Master's degree/diploma in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
