AirHop has an excellent opportunity for an experienced software development engineer to join a small, impactful team at the forefront of wireless network programmability. You will have high visibility participating with cross-functional teams and collaborating daily with senior leaders. The Role:

You will develop, integrate, debug, and maintain software for AirHop’s AI-powered wireless network automation and optimization solutions. You will enjoy the flexibility and convenience of a flexible hybrid work environment.

What you will do:

• Architect, develop and deploy the next-generation cloud-native Open RAN automation and optimization applications in Open RAN architecture.

• Participate in defining the architecture and implementation of AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) algorithms.

• Perform functional and performance analyses on algorithms deployed in production networks. • Work closely with AirHop’s Open RAN partners and customers.

What you will bring:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• High proficiency in Python (including asyncio) and C is a must.

• Experience with JavaScript, Go, Scala, Django a plus.

• At least 5 years of software development experience on Unix platforms.

• Experience with container-based deployment, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Design and development experience using REST APIs in a client-server architecture.

• Knowledge of wireless technologies (LTE, 5G NR, Open RAN) is a plus.

Where will you work?

This position can be fully remote, in our offices in San Diego, or hybrid.

This is an immediate, full-time position. The job requires U.S. citizenship or permanent U.S.
