We’re seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Pattern & Graphic Designer to work closely with our Creative Director as a key creative partner. This is a highly collaborative role for a designer who thrives on bringing a clear vision to life through thoughtful, high-level execution.

AiNO is a wallcovering company that serves commercial designers and contractors across the country. We specialize in digitally manufactured wallcoverings for hospitality, workplace, and other large-scale commercial interior projects.

Why This Role Matters

This position is central to the brand’s creative output. You will be responsible for creating new wallcovering designs that will ultimately be specified in real commercial spaces. Your ability to execute at a high level, refine ideas, and elevate overall design quality will directly influence how the brand is perceived within the architecture and design community.

What You’ll Do

• Translate the Creative Director’s vision into original, high-end wallcovering patterns (primary focus)

• Develop textile-inspired graphics, repeats, and refined colorways

• Follow established creative direction while providing thoughtful design input

• Create photorealistic interior renderings using tools like MidJourney or similar AI platforms

• Produce engaging social media content (Instagram, LinkedIn) in line with the brand voice

• Design marketing materials, including presentations, product visuals, and digital assets

• Collaborate closely on new collections, iterations, and refinements

What We’re Looking For

• A strong portfolio showcasing textile, pattern, or surface design work

• 3+ years of relevant experience minimum

• An exceptional eye for color, scale, and composition

• Ability to take direction and execute with precision and consistency

• A preference for designers who are highly hands-on and take pride in their craftsmanship and attention to detail

• Someone who enjoys refining and perfecting designs through multiple iterations

• A collaborative mindset—comfortable working within a defined creative vision rather than owning it independently

• Self-motivated and highly organized (this is a fully remote role)

• Passion for design, trends, and ongoing learning

• Interior design background strongly preferred

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

• Strong understanding of pattern repeats (half-drop, mirror, straight repeat, etc.)

• Experience preparing production-ready artwork for large-scale printing

• Experience with AI-based rendering tools (MidJourney or similar)

• Ability to create and edit photorealistic interior mockups/renderings

• Strong file organization and asset management practices
