We’re hiring: Senior Software Engineer (Remote/Hybrid)

📍 Location: Remote or Hybrid (Zagreb, Croatia)

At AINATIVE, we’re building advanced, data-driven software solutions that power the next generation of intelligent systems. To support our continued growth, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our experienced engineering team.

This position can be fully remote or hybrid from our office in Zagreb, Croatia.

What you’ll be working with:

You’ll help design and build scalable backend systems using modern technologies and best practices. We’re looking for someone who writes clean, reliable code and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.

Tech stack you’ll work with:

• Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Stream, and the Spring Framework

• Microservices architectures and design patterns

• Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming

• RESTful APIs

• MongoDB

• GitLab CI/CD pipelines

• Git version control (GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.)

• Kubernetes and Docker for containerized development

• Linux environments

Nice to have:

• Golang experience or interest

• Experience with cryptography and encryption – a great advantage

• An experienced Java Software Engineer with strong backend expertise

• Comfortable with cloud-native development and scalable system design
