Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Spring Boot Java Programmer. The role involves developing and maintaining software using the Spring Framework, working with microservices architecture, and programming in Java. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting various aspects of the software development lifecycle, ensuring high performance, and contributing to technology discussions and planning.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in e-commerce or ad tech is a plus

What You’ll Do

Own features end-to-end – design, code, test, and ship Spring Boot micro-services that power our core platform.
Write clean, modern Java 22+ with Gradle, HikariCP, and JPA/Hibernate.
Collaborate asynchronously in GitHub: PR reviews, trunk-based development, Git-flow when needed.
Tackle performance – profile JVMs, tune MariaDB/PostgreSQL queries, and optimize memory/GC for 64 GB servers.
Think product, not tickets – propose improvements, question specs, and help shape the roadmap.

Must-Have Skills

3–5 years professional Java back-end experience.
Solid Spring Boot (REST, Spring Security, Spring Data) knowledge.
Confident with Git, Docker, and Gradle.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
SQL expertise (MariaDB/MySQL or PostgreSQL) and basic schema design.
Proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly in English and works independently across time zones.

Salary:

Annual take home salary is from 5 to 7 lakhs per annum
