Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is crucial in designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI-driven applications tailored to the specific needs of the personal injury legal sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a deep understanding of AI technologies, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the security and compliance of our systems, adhering to best practices in data privacy and protection, particularly concerning sensitive legal and medical documents.

- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance distributed systems to support our AI applications.

- Develop and maintain backend services for data ingestion, processing, and storage, ensuring seamless integration with our AI models.

- Collaborate closely with the Director of Development and legal professionals, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Optimize system performance and reliability, addressing scalability challenges as our user base grows.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation within the company.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on building large-scale distributed systems.

- Proficiency in JavaScript

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

- Hands-on experience with LLM engineering

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
