What the Role Delivers
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business and Science Data Analyst to join our team. This role will be instrumental in leveraging data to quantify the value of our product portfolio, support marketing claims, and identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will analyze product efficacy trials, customer data, and market trends to provide data-informed actionable insights that drive marketing strategy, reduce customer churn, contribute to the development of new product concepts and enhance overall marketing?performance.
Key Responsibilities
In order of relative importance
Scientific Product Trial Data Analysis And Interpretation
- Work closely with R&D to interpret and analyze product efficacy trial and other product performance data to quantify the value of our products, ensuring statistical rigor and real-world applicability
- Build models that quantify product benefits, linking trial results to commercial impact (e.g., ROI for customers, improved operational efficiency)
- Create dashboards and visualizations to track ongoing trial performance and, in partnership with Product Portfolio Management team, translate findings into actionable business strategies
- Develop methodologies to assess trial results, including control group comparisons and statistical significance testing
- Use statistical models and data analytics tools to assess the impact of product features on market performance and customer satisfaction
Market And Customer Insights
- Work closely with Market and Customer Insights lead, and product management team to analyze competitive landscape to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the market
- Evaluate customer data to identify patterns and trends that can help reduce churn and inform customer retention strategies
- Track customer lifetime value and provide analysis on how to optimize profitability across various segments
- Analyze customer behavior to uncover opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new market opportunities
Reporting And Dashboards
- Leveraging PowerBI and other systems, build and maintain dashboards, data visualization, analysis tools, and KPI tracking mechanisms, as a resource for key business decisions
- Clearly articulate and develop presentation of data for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Develop ad-hoc reports as needed to support business decisions
Collaboration And Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with market and customer insights lead, product management, and marketing team members to align data analysis with business goals
- Serve as the marketing department’s go-to expert on data analysis, bringing insights that help inform strategic decision-making across teams

What the Job Requires
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of proven experience in a data analysis role, preferably within marketing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in reporting tools, statistical software and data visualization tools (specifically Power BI)
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and analytics platforms
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholder
- Ability to effectively articulate product data analysis to key internal stakeholders

- A proven track record of delivering business growth

- Flexibility to align with U.S. Eastern Time Zone working hours preferred
