Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, incorporating grants, donations, sponsorships, and memberships to meet monthly financial goals.
Research and identify potential grant opportunities, prepare compelling proposals, and manage relationships with grant-making organizations.
Plan, organize, and oversee fundraising events to maximize donor engagement and community involvement.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, ensuring consistent communication, recognition, and appreciation.
Identify opportunities for product sales and services that align with the organization’s mission and enhance revenue streams.
Collaborate with internal teams to effectively communicate the organization’s mission, goals, and impact to external stakeholders.
Travel as needed to meet with donors, attend events, and engage in networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a proven track record of success in fundraising and public relations.
Demonstrated expertise in grant writing, donor relations, and resource development.
Strong understanding of agricultural issues and rural development, with the ability to communicate these effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and persuasive messaging.
Experience in planning and executing fundraising events with measurable success.
Ability to work independently while also fostering collaboration within a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications in nonprofit management, fundraising, or related areas are a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
