Applied AI Engineer / Data Scientist

Do you want to build AI solutions that solve real business problems? Join our growing AI team and work on a variety of projects ranging from Computer Vision and Generative AI to optimization and intelligent automation.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and Machine Learning solutions for real-world business challenges.
• Develop Computer Vision models for object detection, image analysis, landmark detection, measurement extraction, and visual inspection tasks.
• Build rapid Proof of Concepts (POCs) for customers, validating AI use cases within short delivery cycles.
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) for information extraction, document understanding, multimodal applications, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Develop optimization algorithms and decision-support systems for planning and operational processes.
• Build APIs and AI services using Python, FastAPI, Docker, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to transform business requirements into AI solutions.
• Participate in both customer-facing projects and internal AI product development.

What we expect:

• 3+ years of hands-on Python programming experience.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks (preferably PyTorch).
• Experience with Computer Vision tasks such as object detection, segmentation, image classification, landmark detection, or OCR.
• Experience with LLMs and Generative AI technologies (OpenAI, Hugging Face, multimodal models, RAG systems).
• Ability to quickly prototype and validate AI solutions.
• Experience working with REST APIs and software engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, Agile methodologies, and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with FastAPI, Docker, CI/CD, or MLOps tools is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Experience delivering AI Proof of Concepts for customers.
• Experience with optimization algorithms, operations research, or planning systems.
• Experience with multimodal AI applications combining text and images.
• Experience deploying AI solutions to production environments.
