About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team and support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Supermicro website. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the website’s design and user interface, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. You will also create detailed reports for various web applications, participate in the revamp and migration of legacy tools, and leverage artificial intelligence to automate processes and improve operational efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure our digital presence remains innovative, user-friendly, and aligned with our strategic goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects involving tool migration, AI integration, and website optimization in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience. Candidates should have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience with front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.js or jQuery. Additionally, a minimum of 3+ years of experience in integrating RESTful APIs and developing multi-page web applications is required. Proficiency with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL, and web servers including Apache, Nginx, or IIS is essential. Experience with mobile development, SEO optimization, and familiarity with ASP.NET and server technologies such as ColdFusion will be considered advantageous. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of software development best practices, rapid learning capabilities, and adaptability to complex environments. Self-motivation, attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are critical attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance the functionality of web applications, ensuring seamless user experience and optimal performance.
• Maintain and improve existing websites by implementing updates and new features aligned with business needs.
• Create comprehensive reports for training, tools, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize AI technologies to automate workflows, improve processes, and modernize legacy tools, including the Cornerstone migration from Drupal.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance issues, and display problems across web platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and ensure website security and compliance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve web development processes.
