About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Campus Mum. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and visual design of our digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces. Your expertise will ensure that our products are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and aligned with user needs. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, InVision, or Framer X.
• Experience working within an agile environment, preferably with two-week sprint cycles.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and micro-interactions.
• Familiarity with project management and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts effectively.
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of successful product design projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in every phase of the product design cycle, from initial discovery to developer handoff and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and technical teams to lead and shape the product design process.
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout the design process, ensuring fidelity between design specifications and final implementation.
• Estimate design tasks accurately during planning sessions to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Contribute to brainstorming and sketching sessions involving cross-disciplinary team members.
• Create, iterate, and maintain UI deliverables including sketch files, style guides, high-fidelity prototypes, micro-interaction specifications, and pattern libraries.
• Ensure all design decisions are data-driven by identifying assumptions, testing hypotheses during sprints, and collaborating with analysts on usability testing.
• Design pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces, emphasizing the adoption of common interface patterns to enhance user experience.
• Present and showcase design work to the broader team and stakeholders during Show & Tell sessions, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
