About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The primary focus of this role is to develop and enhance the mobile application that serves as the main interface for our members. The app allows users to control, configure, and gain insights from our products, providing a seamless and engaging experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend, firmware, machine learning, research and development, growth, hardware, and executive leadership, to deliver high-quality features and optimize user experience.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, robust, and visually appealing Android applications. Your expertise will ensure the app performs efficiently, maintains high standards of quality, and incorporates smooth animations and intuitive UI components. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a passion for health tech and wellness innovation. You will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and help shape the future of our mobile platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years experience in shipping high-quality native Android applications
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVI
• Experience building scalable, testable, and enterprise-grade mobile apps
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, UI/UX principles, and performance optimization techniques
• Ability to thrive in a rapid development environment while maintaining app stability and quality

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced features for the Android mobile app, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, firmware, ML, hardware, and product management to deliver integrated solutions
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and optimize app performance and stability
• Create and implement custom UI components using Jetpack Compose to enhance user interaction
• Participate in planning, design discussions, and technical decision-making to influence the app’s evolution
• Implement rigorous testing strategies to ensure reliability and robustness of features
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and incorporate innovative techniques into our app
