AeroCloud is on a mission to modernise airport operations — and we’re doing it with a unified TypeScript + AWS stack. The role

We’re hiring across mid and senior levels. Whether you're frontend-leaning, full stack, or backend-focused, we’ll shape the role around your strengths and ambitions.

What You’ll Be Building

Our platform powers real-time airport operations from curb to gate — kicking in the moment a passenger steps into the terminal with our Optic system, continuing through AOS, which helps airports manage flights and day-to-day operations, right up to boarding the plane with our PPS. You’ll work closely with Product in cross-functional teams, building and owning features end-to end — from React components to serverless APIs and event-driven backends.

We’re Currently Focusing On

• TypeScript across frontend and backend
• React with Storybook and BFF patterns
• AWS (ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Cognito, EventBridge, Greengrass)
• Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK, backends with NestJS, and data stored in MongoDB Atlas
• Observability, testing, and CI/CD baked into the process

Job Responsibilities

What We Expect From You

You’ve worked with some of this in practice, not just read about it. If you're applying at a senior level, we’d expect you to have hands-on experience. If you're mid-level, curiosity and a willingness to learn go a long way.

• Strong TypeScript skills — frontend, backend, or both
• Experience with AWS architecture — both serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, CDK) and serverful (e.g. ECS, Fargate), and knowing when to choose which
• Confidence working on real-world React apps, ideally with design systems or component libraries
• Experience working with NestJS for building robust backend services
• Solid grasp of modern testing and CI/CD practices. Observability is critical to how we build — we expect you to think in traces, logs, and metrics from day one, designing systems that are transparent and debuggable by default.
• You’ve built things, shipped them, supported them in production, and cared about what those releases meant for customers. You’re comfortable owning tickets from left to right on the board, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
