Back End Developer

Location: Remote (Global)

Job Type: Contract (Full-Time: over 25–30 hrs/week, Part-Time: 15–20 hrs/week)

Compensation: $55–$80/hour (higher for senior experience)

Duration: 6-month initial contract (with strong extension potential)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Project:
We’re building a next-generation blockchain platform to simplify and modernize the real estate transaction process. Our product includes tokenized listings, automated smart contract workflows, and decentralized infrastructure that enhances transparency and efficiency for buyers, sellers, and realtors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable APIs and back-end services for real estate transactions and smart contract interactions
• Manage user authentication, data storage, and blockchain integrations
• Collaborate with front-end and smart contract developers to ensure seamless data flow and app performance
• Develop integrations with external services (e.g., MLS, KYC providers, oracles)
• Ensure high availability, security, and maintainability of backend systems

Tech Stack:

• Languages: TypeScript, Node.js
• Frameworks: Next.js, Express.js, tRPC
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Supabase
• Web3 Libraries: ethers.js, wagmi
• Infrastructure: IPFS, Chainlink, Vercel, AWS
• Bonus: Familiarity with real estate APIs (MLS), DID/KYC workflows, or blockchain indexers (The Graph)

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Have 3+ years of experience building scalable back-end systems
• Are proficient with Node.js, APIs, and TypeScript
• Have experience working with Web3 technologies or integrating blockchain with traditional backends
• Care about clean architecture, system reliability, and clear documentation
• Work well in a remote team and communicate clearly
