About Us
We’re a tech startup building AI-powered tools that solve real business problems in financial services specifically for the investment management industry. Our small, cross-functional team moves quickly—experimenting with new frameworks, iterating on user feedback, and shipping features end-to-end. As a co-founding engineer, you’ll own critical pieces of our platform from day one.
If you're obsessed with AI, fluent in the latest LLM advancements, and energized by the challenge of building deeply vertical products from scratch, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Onboard & Curate Content
- Help ingest, transform, and tag customer data into our “vault” for high-quality responses.
- Provide a white glove onboarding service to our first ~50 customers while developing onboarding automation along the way.
- Look for ways to help our customers improve their vaults and related response generation.
Debug & Maintain
- Troubleshoot issues in staging/production, write clear bug reports, and implement fixes with CI/CD best practices.
- Bring a ‘customer-first’ mindset each day to bug fixing and improvements that will delight users.
Design, Build & Test APIs
- Architect and implement API’s in our application —write specs, unit tests, and integration tests.
Prompt Engineering for AI Agents
- Craft, tweak, and evaluate LLM prompts to drive reliable tool-calling workflows and agent behaviors.
Prototype & Explore New Tools
- Research emerging libraries, SDKs, or model capabilities—build quick demos to evaluate fit.
Collaborate & Iterate
- Work alongside our founders to refine requirements and deliver polished features.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduated with a BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related Science fields; ideally 3+ years prior development experience.
- Familiar with Python or TypeScript and modern web frameworks
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP concepts
- Interest and experience with AI/ML—bonus if you’ve played with OpenAI, LangChain, or similar
- Comfortable using Git, writing tests, and working in collaborative repositories
- Strong problem-solving skills and an appetite for fast iteration
- Excellent communication—able to explain complex ideas simply
- Self-starter who thrives in a high-ambiguity environment
- Most important you are resilient, are energized by tough problems, and willing to do whatever it takes—long hours, unfamiliar code, or last-minute pivots—to push the product and company forward.
