QA Tester

About the role

As the QA Tester, you will design and write test script that tests on new or existing software and website to ensure the quality and reliability of our development projects. You will be responsible for testing websites, development projects to identify any issues or inconsistencies.

Key responsibilities:

• You conduct testing of new or existing websites, applications and development projects to identify performance issues, defects, usability issues.
• You contribute to weekly/monthly website health checks independently to ensure issues and gaps are identified and documented (i.e., content, formatting, loading speed, checkout funnel…).
• You develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• You record test results and prepare reports with key website performance metrices.
• You collaborate closely with UI/UX designer and developers to understand requirements and ensure issues are resolved.
• You contribute to post-deployment QC process.
• You suggest and develop automation to optimize the testing process and capability.
• You ensure simple yet effective tracking and monitoring tools are in place for monitoring, testing and reporting.

To be successful, you will have:

• 5-6 years working experience in manual testing or quality assurance field within the digital / technology industry.
• Strong understanding of website and software testing methodologies, processes and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as GTMetrix, Pingdom, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, MS Clarity, or Site24x7 would be an added advantage.
