About the Role
Adeia is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Marketing Manager to join the team, reporting directly to the VP, Head of Communications and Marketing. This role is essential to supporting the execution of marketing, communications, and brand initiatives that drive awareness and engagement for Adeia’s innovations and industry leadership.
The ideal candidate is a skilled project manager and communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They will have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities at once, ensuring high-quality deliverables while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
This role blends hands-on execution, stakeholder collaboration, and creativity, supporting activities including press relations, social media, digital content creation, event coordination, and awards strategy. It also offers the opportunity to directly influence Adeia’s global communications strategy while working in a flexible and innovative environment.
Primary Duties
Digital Content and Social Media Management
- Create and manage a content calendar for Adeia’s social media platforms.
- Draft posts, design visuals, and ensure timely execution.
- Collaborate with digital design agencies on high-quality video scripts, web content, and promotional assets.
- Lead LinkedIn engagement initiatives to amplify Adeia’s brand presence.
- Oversee creation of "Inventors’ Notes" (blog posts and whitepapers) for technical and general audiences.
Awards and Industry Recognition
- Research and coordinate submissions for industry awards (e.g., Fast Company’s Best Places to Work for Innovators).
- Manage the full award entry process including budgeting, approvals, and content creation.
- Draft supporting blogs, white papers, or promotional content to showcase Adeia’s achievements.
Press Relations and Communications
- Draft, edit, and manage press releases in Adeia’s tone and brand style.
- Oversee the press release process: version control, stakeholder approval, scheduling.
- Pitch media opportunities and coordinate interviews with press and Adeia leadership.
- Track press impact and provide reports to leadership.
Event and Conference Coordination
- Execute Adeia’s executive presence at key industry events.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Create event-related content (blogs, presentations, white papers).
- Manage logistics such as ticketing, media training, and promotional materials.
Project Management and Process Optimization
- Lead internal and external teams to deliver marketing initiatives on time.
- Maintain workflows, project plans, and approval cycles.
- Collaborate across marketing, legal, HR, and leadership teams.
General Communications Support
- Support corporate responsibility and internal engagement programs.
- Draft communications materials, including blogs and white papers, aligned with strategy.
Qualifications / Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years in marketing, communications, or public relations, ideally in technology or media.
- Experience managing press, events, and digital campaigns.
- Strong project management skills; proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in social platforms, content systems, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting executive teams and managing high-visibility communications.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Knowledge of B2B strategies in IP licensing, technology, or semiconductors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Location
This role is remote, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States. Occasional travel (5–10%) may be required for events or conferences.
