The Opportunity
We're seeking a talented Contract Product Designer to support high-impact projects for our Merchant Finance, Tax, and Reporting team. In this role, you'll lead initiatives that directly improve the merchant experience while driving key business goals. Beyond designing interfaces, you'll own your domain—collaborating with research, product, engineering, and analytics teams to shape strategy and deliver exceptional solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Navigate complex, ambiguous problem spaces and chart clear paths forward through thoughtful design solutions • Leverage quantitative data and qualitative feedback to inform iterative design decisions • Own end-to-end design processes including user flows, interaction design, and visual execution across multiple products • Clearly articulate design thinking and participate in reviews to develop solutions collaboratively • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners including UX Research, Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, and Marketing • Provide implementation guidance to engineering teams to ensure high-quality feature launches
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a product/UX designer in a relevant industry • Proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces through mastery of the design process • Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and craft • Self-awareness, curiosity, and a humble approach to collaboration • Experience with Figma and design systems • Expert-level proficiency with interaction/UI design and wireframing • Ability to quickly adapt to new design tools and methodologies
Nice to Have
• Prior design experience with finance, tax, data visualization, or reporting solutions • Experience facilitating design sprints
Work Details
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM • Dress code: Business casual • Selection process: Manager review followed by interview
Degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience
