Job Description

As Software Engineer (Python/ PySpark), your responsibilities include:

  • Software & API Development – Develop scalable backend systems and integrate RESTful APIs for data ingestion and processing
  • Data Analysis & ETL Pipelines – Work with PySpark, NumPy, Pandas/Polars, and Databricks to build and manage large-scale data pipelines
  • Cloud Engineering – Leverage Azure services including Azure Functions, Azure SQL, ADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage), and Queue Storage
  • Data Validation & Optimization – Ensure high-quality, efficient, and secure data pipelines that meet performance and scalability benchmarks
  • Collaboration & Documentation – Partner with cross-functional teams and contribute to clear, maintainable documentation

Profile Requirements

For this position of Software Engineer (Python/ PySpark), we are looking for someone with:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development or data engineering
  • Proficiency in Python with strong experience in PySpark
  • Deep knowledge of Databricks and working with large datasets
  • Experience with Azure cloud tools (Functions, ADLS, SQL, Queue Storage)
  • Strong background in API design and integration
  • Solid understanding of ETL concepts and cloud-based data processing
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Optional: SQL knowledge and experience with workflow orchestration tools
